![]() Sean Mark, BC-HIS, our Director at Pure Sound Hearing Aids traveled to Naples, FL for a three-day intensive training from Signia. Mr. Mark spoke to Eric Branda, Au. D. Dr. Branda is an audiologist and Signia's director of product management. His focus is to introduce the latest products available for hearing aid users, and help Sivantos reach its goal to produce the best solutions for various degrees of hearing loss. Tish Ramirez, AuD, director of clinical education and her team discussed the Nx product line and programming details for the best possible fittings and how to get the most out of the hearing aid. At the event, Michael Guiden, Vice President of National Accounts, spoke about the merger of Sivantos and Widex - a rare merger of premium brands - forming WS Audiology. WS Audiology now employees over 800 R&d specialists, creating better and more innovative hearing aids than any other product. Melanie O'Brien-Matta, Signia’s Regional Director of Northeast, and Mr. Mark strategize to improve future product delivery and customer satisfaction. Lisa Klop, AuD, is a Signia Technology Trainer for the Northeast. She has worked with Pure Sound over the years to make sure we are up to date on the latest fitting methods. Klop has single-sided deafness with a loss of hearing in one ear. She wears the Signia 7 nX CROS hearing aid, and was able to hear better in loud group settings than many of the attendees with normal hearing!
